My dog passed away.


It hurts even more because I wasn't there.
He was old, and he was sick (although I was told two days ago he was doing better), and I knew he would probably pass on sometime this year.

But I wanted to at least pet him and give him one last hug.

EDIT; Gah it's going to be so weird not hearing him huff puff as he walks to the water bowl and climbs through the doggy door.
...and we even put in a new doggy door about a month ago that was easier for him. :C

I've also been e-mailing my mom while she's in Mexico with some friends, and she even said "I´m going to feel lonely when I´m home alone working in my office and he´s not next to me on the floor. :("

Although she's not a huge fan of dogs, she really liked smokey.
(more than Skyler because Skyler gets in you way all the time xD;; )
